Description
This device is a fully functional miniature power plant, not just a toy. It demonstrates how mechanical energy is converted into electrical energy using the exact same principles found in hydroelectric dams and wind turbines. Engineering Core: The model features a precision-engineered 4-Stage Compound Gear Train with a massive 22.5:1 ratio. This multiplies a comfortable human input of 60 RPM into a blazing 1,350 RPM at the generator core. +2 The Generator: Inside, an Axial Flux alternator uses 16 High-Grade N52 Neodymium Magnets spinning over 8 Copper Coils (approx. 1,800 total turns). This setup generates up to 14.4 Volts and 6 Watts of power, instantly lighting up the attached LED module. It is the perfect educational tool to demonstrate Faraday's Law, Torque, and Energy Conservation.
Features
- High-Ratio Gearbox: A 22.5:1 compound gear train amplifies speed from 60 RPM to 1,350 RPM
- Industrial Physics: Uses N52 Neodymium magnets and 28 AWG copper wire for real-world efficiency
- High Power Output: Generates ~14.4V and 6W power, enough to brightly light the LED load.
- Tangible Resistance: Users feel "Lenz's Law" (mechanical resistance) the moment the light turns on
- Open Architecture: Fully visible gears, coils, and magnets for clear classroom demonstration.
